The Investigating Officer (IO) shall focus on:

  1. Collection and preservation of scientific, physical, and documentary evidence.

  2. Restoration of normalcy and public confidence.

  4. Eliciting the truth behind the commission of the offence.

  5. Prompt identification, arrest, and prosecution of offenders.

  6. Conducting a professional, scientific, and qualitative investigation.
