  2. Restoration of recovered property to the victim through due legal process.

  3. Identification, arrest, and prosecution of offenders.

  4. Conducting a scientific, intelligence-based, and qualitative investigation.

  5. Preventing recurrence of pick-pocketing offences through effective detection of habitual offenders and organized gangs.
